Egypt is a country steeped in history and culture, with a rich and diverse heritage that dates back thousands of years. Cairo, the capital, is a city of contrasts, with ancient mosques and palaces standing side by side with modern skyscrapers and shopping malls. The Khan el-Khalili bazaar, located in the heart of the city, is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the sights, sounds, and smells of an authentic Egyptian marketplace.

Alexandria, located on the Mediterranean coast, is another city that is rich in history and culture. Once the site of the ancient Library of Alexandria, the city is now home to a number of museums and cultural institutions, as well as some of the best seafood restaurants in the country. Visitors can take a stroll along the Corniche, a seaside promenade that offers stunning views of the Mediterranean, or explore the narrow streets and alleyways of the city's historic old town.

No visit to Egypt would be complete without sampling the country's world-famous cuisine. Egyptian food is a blend of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors, with dishes like koshari (a mix of rice, lentils, and pasta), ful medames (a stew made from fava beans), and kofta (spiced meatballs) being among the most popular. Street food is also a big part of Egyptian culinary culture, with vendors selling everything from grilled meat skewers to freshly baked bread and pastries.
